In 1990, God put a dream in my heart to touch East Dallas County for Christ. Part of this dream included providing a place where the hurting, the helpless, the discouraged, the depressed, the frustrated and the confused could find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance and encouragement.

      Following this dream, Life Builders Counseling Center was founded in January 2000 as a non-profit ministry with it's main goal being to help hurting people through a Biblical perspective. Each month we see over 250 people, many of whom have not just profited from the counsel, but who come to know Jesus Christ through their experience. We also have many support groups that have stemmed out of Life Builders that continue to grow.

      I am sure that many of you know at least one person, or perhaps you personally have benefited from the services at Life Builders. Many of those seeking help do not have the funds available to provide foor counseling, but Life Builders is based on the fact that we never turn away someone needing help.

      We hope to penetrate a weary world with Biblical counsel from the infallible Word of God. God's truth provides the only lasting answer to mental and emotional suffering, just as Jesus Christ is the only lasting source for hope.
